The Suixtil Raticosa is recreated from historic photographs of one of the biggest gentleman racer ever to grace the tracks. Made from a luxurious mix of 90% Basolan lambs’ wool and 10% cashmere it is both warm and elegant. This 5-gauge heavy (about 550 grams, 1.2 lbs) jumper has kept all the distinctive attributes (from the raglan sleeves to the high round neck collar line) of its original. The Raticosa will bring its owners the usual combination of historic relevance, comfort and style. Initially available in deep-sea blue and storm heather grey in 5 sizes (from S to XXL).

COLLAR = Measure around the middle of your neck, at the Adam\’s apple.
For comfort fit allow room for your index finger to fit between the tape and your neck.

A few years ago, I came upon the Suixtil website, and I bought the Sebring bomber jacket. The idea of wearing a jacket that was the same as one worn by Jean Behra seemed very cool to me. I began to realize how much I identified with the racing ethos of the 1950s and 60s. That was followed by the purchase of a Zandvoort rain jacket. Then I bought a Caterham. Then I bought a garage at the M1 Concourse in Pontiac, MI, to store my Caterham and decked it out with diecasts and artifacts from racing in the 50s and 60s. The attached pics will tell the story. Today I bought a sweater like the one Peter Collins wore in his Ferrari cockpit (different color, I know.) Thanks for keeping this brand alive and relevant to people like me!!
