While in Italy, how about an incredible hillclimb?

It’s the Silverflag, of course – and best of all: the 30th annivrsary edition of an event that has grown organically on the combined strenght and friendliness of the organization and its members.

It is difficult to imagine how one can successfully gather lovers of all different motoring periods around a hillclimb that snakes some 8km in the Italian countryside. And yet, year after year, always bigger, the Silverflag pulls it off with a spirit that embodies all the great traits we have learned to love about our Italian friends.

Alex, our representative from Suixtil Benelux, participated with his D-type after convoying down, along with a few friends, to make the most of his 8th participation. He even manage to bring back a trophy as well – though where did he find the space is a  mystery best left well-alone. He had brought many of our decals and convinced quite a few of the other participants to join into the spirit. The results – we’ll leave you to judge them, but it seems clear that we are not about to run out of beauties to showcase on our Tricky Tuesday adventures…
