Oh, and one more thing we forgot to mention we had been lucky to experience during our last trip to Argentina in March. We got kindly invited to meet up at a friend’s out of town haven to visit his collection.

It is quite the way out of town and one must be prepared to leave Buenos Aires and its contrasts and ride the confusing maze of
should have thought of this beforeArgentinean highways – some paying, some not, some you’ll never know – so it is certainly best to plan on getting the help of a GPS while being mindful that some of its advice might be outdated, impratical or both – that’s the way things roll here…
In any case, this is not a case where the journey is the destination – the destination is and you want to get there to be able to marvel at the automotive treasures that have been tastefully accumulated in that – not just any man’s but a true – Aladdin’s cave. Whether your heart is set on “true classics” or keener on rallying, without even mentioning the memorabilia, the artful decoration or, even, the cool garage ready for anything. In fact, you’d be hard pressed to be found wanting for anything and a visit to that incredible lair will leave you convinced that such a collection is quite the accomplishment and that would be overlooking the fact that few of the crown jewels (a A6GCM here, a 250SWB there and on and on) are not even stored here, being put to good use somewhere else instead. Ah, heaven on earth indeed and many thanks again for having us over and letting us enjoy the breath and depth of such a marvelous selection of treasures – at life speed! Check them out:
