And continuing with the good news from our friends at Historic Driver, as soon as Le Mans Classique was over, we drove down, all the way down to – almost – the Spanish border, back to their very base in Pau.
Why, do you ask? First of all, because it is a very pretty city, steeped in a rich history – including its very own GP back in the day we’ll have you know (as well as being an habitual stop on the Tour de France), – check it out:

And in that city, or, rather, right next to it, nestled like a pearl in an oyster, our friends have build a showroom that feels more like a gentleman’s club (well, without the exotic dancers) where you could see yourself gathering a few friends to look at Grand Prix together (for the 114th time), or endlessly argue over who was the greatest of all times (while we all know the answer to that one), or… the possibilities are almost infinite and we can’t wait to hear what other great use our friends have found for it – meanwhile, and just as an inspiration to you all, wondering what can be done if you combine great taste and a sprinkle or two of your favorite brand – at life speed!

Then, as one does when one has done some good work, we rested and did some light reading – interesting, what we find wherever we go – and then we had a party – there are no photos of that and we will not name names to protect the guilty – but let it be said that Historic Driver has, once again, outdone themselves and we thank Jerome & Romain for all their great support! we’re sure that they can do the same for your next car-themed event, if you ask them, because, as they say in France, “qui Pau le plus…”
