SHARED EXPERIENCE

$340.00$740.00

Beautiful image from (and with the very kind permission and under the © of Grand Prix Photo), this scene captures to perfection the spirit of the GP races of the ’50s. Shot during ‘57 edition of the French GP in Rouen, the picture immortalizes in vivid colors a conversation between Juan-Manuel Fangio (vying for his 5th world championship title) sporting his Rivadavia helmet and Suixtil race pants & Cuba t-shirt and contender Jean Behra, also sporting the race pants and his lucky Targa sweater. Guerino Bertocchi, who has been assigned to look after the Maestro’s Maserati 250F, looks on, probably amused by the contentions of the younger rival – what a great atmosphere!

On the technical front, the image has the following characteristics: – 60*60cm (about 24′ square) – Hahnemuhle photo rag 308 – Discreet Suixtil seal of authenticity – 3 layered passe-partout with (what else) a silver lining – Courier shipped within 10 days of the order receipt in a made to measure cardboard box to ensure perfect protection – it is available in 3 different mounting / framing options described under our Home (mounting only), Collector (mounted and framed with Plexi glass cover) or Museum (mounted and framed with special glass cover) editions.
