Lovingly handcrafted in Argentina Il Bello is an hommage to yet another Italian racer and one of its most dashing and fierce. Eugenio Castellotti (Il Bello) was the very embodiment of the ’50s racer: distinguished, elegant and ruthless on the track. Racing for both Lancia and, then, Ferrari – highly respected teams of the days, he was easy to notice thanks to his good looks and assurance as much on the F1 circuit as in endurance races (he did win the prestigious 1000 Miglia, among others and shared a wheel with JM Fangio for a winning drive at the ’56 12 hours of Sebring). A fine connoisseur of the finer things in life he cut a dashing figure – hence the nickname we associated with his helmet.
The helmet shell is built from a base molded from resin and fibers while its inside is lined with natural cork of 3 mm (0.11 in) thickness. All straps are crafted from the finest real cow leather while the padding and covers are stitched from 100% cotton. The black outer leather and protection band smartly contrasts with the white shell and the helmet inside
This beautiful piece is sure to attract a lot of attention with its gorgeous patina and is crafted to the highest standard. It arrives nicely packed in a linen bag that you can use whenever taking the helmet to a track day or an event.
Il Bello comes in 3 sizes (thanks to an easy to install foam adjustment ring) that accommodates head sizes from 56 to 64 cm (22 to 25.5′) and is delivered by courier within 7 days of its order.

The flags are crafted from purpose-made water-based decals, carefully applied to your helmet so that they’ll show your (true) colors for a long time to come, or, rather, as we like to call it here – at life speed!
