The German edition of Octane reviews our GP gloves (and more)
We have just been told that one of the recent German editions of Octane had some nice Suixtil moments in it and we had to check it out.
First, it should be noted that (with or without us, but certainly more so with) it was one for the records… the breath of subjects covered, the quality of the photos (many of which locally taken rather than simply brought over from the UK edition) and the ease of navigation (yes, still a good reason to pickup magazines in their paper format) made for a great time.
Then, of course, those Suixtil moments – first, we thought it was only about the nice product review about our Grand Prix gloves: calling them “in many ways an improvement over the original” (if our rusty German serves us) was certainly a great compliment, and there were more.
And there were also more pleasant surprises. Imagine this, we dive in the article about Jochen Mass testing vintage tires only to discover, upon turning the page, that Jochen (who’s been a friend of your
brand for quite some time now) has decided to sport his Modena pants for the occasion. This, of course, was the source of considerable satisfaction for us as it confirms that celebrated professionals (let’s not forget the amazing racing career that Jochen built and that makes him one of the most sought after presence at vintage races and events alike) will choose your brand to bring them the right mix of comfort and historical relevance. What else could we ask for?
But there was still more – and we guess you’ll have to pick your own issue, or – even better – subscribe, to find out – at life speed!
And let’s not forget our distribution partners at Suixtil Deutschland who made it happen. Well done!
