As if one place ever had the monopoly on (Suixtil) good times – “que nenni” as they would say in France! Proof: in the UK, at the Castle Combe track (a circuit with at least 70 years history) the members of the Drum Brakes series, gathered under the auspices of the Griffiths-Haig trophy conceived by Pia & Tony from Historic Racing Repertoire who magicked the whole concept out of thin air and have been running it for the past two seasons under the benevolent auspices of the HSCC.
The participants have had many opportunities to challenge one another thus far and it is a true pleasure to see the series growing in both acceptance and intensity. Some of the beauties captured at the track might seem like the “usual suspects” here, having been seen earlier in Silverstone or the Hatch, but keep your eyes peeled and you might even spot an upcoming Tricky Tuesday contestant – who knows. Keep your eyes peeled anyways, as these action-packed shots take some concentration to fully appreciate what is happening…
